Bullock achieves international accreditation credential

Kara Bullock, Senior Vice President and Account Director for Tribe, Inc., has been named an Accredited Business Communicator by the International Association of Business Communicators. IABC’s professional credentialing program recognizes communicators who have reached a globally accepted standard of knowledge and proficiency.

“Kara is experienced in building strong internal brands that maximize employee engagement, and thus increase profitability for our clients. She exemplifies the professionalism and deep knowledge base demanded by this distinction,” says Elizabeth Cogswell Baskin, CEO and Executive Creative Director of Tribe. “The IABC accreditation isn’t easy to earn. We’re very proud to be printing new business cards that read Kara Bullock, ABC.”

Candidates seeking the designation Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) through IABC must apply for the program with a portfolio, complete some intense coursework by attending a weeklong training session and pass a battery of tests gauging their knowledge of all aspects of business communications. Founded in 1970, The International Association of Business Communicators provides a professional network of about 15,000 business communication professionals in over 80 countries. 

Bullock joined Sandy Springs-based Tribe, Inc., two and a half years ago, having previously worked with a|i|m Marketing Solutions, where she last served as Group Director. Before that, she was a Senior Account Executive with The Gem Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from West Virginia University.
