Local Nonprofit Seeking Applicants for Adult Education Coordinator

CAC is accepting applications for an Adult Education Coordinator. The CAC Adult Education Program focuses on teaching and enhancing job skills so clients can be more successful in their everyday lives and become more marketable for better paying jobs. All classes take place in the evenings at CAC and are taught by volunteers. The Adult Education Coordinator will be responsible for day to day operations of the program including recruiting and training, scheduling, supervision, promotional materials to clients and the public and more. The ideal Education Coordinator will be someone who wants to make a significant impact on our community; comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities; high energy level; must demonstrate superior interpersonal skills and ability to get along with diverse personalities. Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. Strong organizational, presentation, verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated negotiation, human relations, and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to use and manage databases. Specific skills needed include:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required;
• Business, education or communications Master degree preferred
• Minimum of three years’ experience in similar field in adult education, collaboration with other service agencies and community engagement.
• Successful experience in similar field;
• Strong PC skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
