National Kids to Parks Day is a nationwide celebration that encourages kids and families to discover, explore, and appreciate local parks and public lands. This annual observance takes place on the third Saturday of May and promotes outdoor play, healthy living, and nature connection for all ages.&nbsp;&nbsp;
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hammond Park, participants can enjoy a variety of free activities including games, prizes, inflatables, a DJ, temporary tattoos, water slides, and more, all designed to inspire kids to get outside and play.&nbsp;Food trucks will be on-site with food available for purchase.&nbsp;

That partnership will be on full display at Sunshine on a Ranney Day’s 5th Annual Golf Tournament, taking place on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Indian Hills Country Club. The event will bring together local businesses, community members, and supporters for a full day of connection and purpose, beginning with a 7:00 AM registration, 10:00 AM tee time, and concluding with a banquet.
What makes this event especially compelling is the intersection of mission and leadership. Crosby Design Group’s all-women team exemplifies how women in business are not only shaping their industry, but also driving meaningful change in their communities. Through their support of Sunshine on a Ranney Day, they are helping create spaces that restore independence and dignity for children and families navigating complex medical needs.
