Campaign Collects Warm Clothes For Homeless Residents
The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness is seeking new or gently used hats, gloves and socks.

ATLANTA, GA -- The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness is seeking donations of new or very gently used hats, gloves and socks to help supply the area's homeless residents with warm clothing.
This is the final week in the agency's first ever Pre-Winter Health Festival for the Homeless clothing drive.
Items for children and adults are being collected in bins at the Aldredge Health Center at 99 Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive in Atlanta through Monday, Oct. 31.

The clothing will be distributed at a health festival for the homeless from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at Renaissance Park in downtown Atlanta.
The Fulton Health Communicable Disease Prevention Branch will provide free screenings for tuberculosis, HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, as well as health and wellness education and counseling. There will be free food and beverages, games and prizes.

Renaissance Park is located at the intersections of Piedmont Avenue and Pine Street NE. The festival will be located on the Pine Street side of the park.
Join us in bringing much-needed medical services and fall/winter clothing to our population of persons who live in shelters and on the streets.
