Good Mews Animal Foundation has extended its annual Spring Flea Market, which is open on weekends in Sandy Springs.

Additionally, the organization is now offering 50 percent off most items Friday through Sunday, May 15-17 and Saturday, May 23.
Market hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. New merchandise will be on display each weekend.

The Flea Market is at 6317 Roswell Road Suite 6331 — behind BB&T Bank in the same shopping center as Hudson Grille.

Marietta-based Good Mews is one of the few virtually cage-free, no-kill cat shelters in Georgia. Since 1988, it has placed over 7,000 cats in permanent homes.
