Cause Of Death Released For Woman Killed In Sandy Springs

Police are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Patrick J. Nolan, who is accused of murdering Amber Holliman.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The Sandy Springs Police Department has released the cause of death for the woman whose body was found in a house fire late Saturday morning. Amber Marie Holliman, 39, died of blunt force trauma and a gunshot wound to the head, said Sandy Springs police spokesperson Sgt. Sam Worsham.

Holliman was found dead inside a home at 501 Hammond Drive after Sandy Springs first responders were dispatched to a house fire around 11:26 a.m. May 26.

Sandy Springs police continue to look for 43-year-old Patrick Joseph Nolan, Holliman's ex-boyfriend who is charged with murder, aggravated assault with intent to murder and arson in connection to the victim's death.

"The victim and Mr. Nolan both lived at the location and had been in a long term relationship — 13 years — at the time of the incident," Sgt. Worsham added.

Sandy Springs police are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Nolan, whose last known location was southern Louisiana, Sgt. Worsham told Patch.

Sandy Springs police say Nolan is believed to be armed and dangerous. Detectives also believe he has his dog, a 160-pound Presa Canario, with him.

Nolan may be driving a blue 2006 Ford Explorer with Georgia tag PYZ1420. Anyone with information on Nolan's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective J.T. Williams at 404-456-9343.
