Chance For Free Chick-Fil-A, Restaurants Reopens
The first 100 in the parking lot will experience a day of helping, then get free Chick-Fil-A for a year.
From Chick-fil-A, Inc.: Nearly 24 years after it opened its doors and more than six months after it was torn down, the Northridge drive-thru Chick-fil-A will reopen on Feb. 22 following a complete rebuild that has tripled its size with new features including a drive-thru canopy, larger customized kitchen and two outdoor patios.
Located at 8433 Roswell Road, the restaurant’s new design also will help team members serve guests with quick and friendly service that is a trademark of the brand. The opening brings back 33 team members, retained during the reconstruction by local Operator Ben Rhodes who has hired an additional 27 employees to help staff the new restaurant.
To celebrate the reopening and welcome back his loyal customers, Rhodes is hosting an interactive Road Trip around the city on Feb. 21 when up to 100 adults will have a chance to win free Chick-fil-A meals for a year. Guests will also have the opportunity to donate children’s books to the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta as part of Rhodes’ continued commitment to making a difference in the local community he loves.

Chick-fil-A Grand Openings
A tradition going back more than 14 years, Chick-fil-A’s community grand opening celebrations have given away more than $34 million in free food through 2017. Unlike previous grand opening events held this year in the metro area, the Northridge drive-thru Chick-fil-A grand opening celebration will not involve any overnight activities. Instead, up to 100 eligible participants, 18 years and older, can start gathering shortly before 6 a.m. on Feb. 21 to register and immediately participate in a grand opening giveaway celebration.

Designed to be an exceptional experience on many levels, the Road Trip takes participants around Atlanta aboard chartered buses while spending approximately six hours being engaged in activities that will provide opportunities to get up and move in addition to impacting with acts of service along the way. Upon completion of the Road Trip, each eligible participant will return to the Northridge restaurant around 3:30 p.m. to continue the celebration. The post-Road Trip party will include dinner and participants being awarded with a digital offer card loaded with a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals (52 meals with each consisting of a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, medium Waffle Potato Fries and a medium beverage).
Registration will be held at the restaurant that morning from 6 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. or until 100 eligible participants are reached, whichever comes first. If more than 100 people are onsite when the line officially opens at 6 a.m. on Feb. 21, a drawing will be held to randomly select 100 guests with each required to participate in the Road Trip celebration being held until 6 p.m. that day. The event is open to guests residing in specific zip codes surrounding the restaurant. A list of eligible zip codes and event rules can be found here.
“I am so excited for this unique celebration as it reflects my passion for serving the local community not only within my restaurant but also beyond my doors,” said Rhodes. “I know those who participate in the grand opening Road Trip will forever be changed as they share in this experience together while serving and positively impacting others on behalf of our newly rebuilt restaurant.”
