ChatComm Seeking National Re-Accreditation
Members of the public and Sandy Springs employees are invited to provide feedback on the 911 Center's ability to meet over 200 standards.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Chattahoochee River 911 Authority is seeking re-accreditation from a national organization, and members of the community and Sandy Springs employees are asked to weigh in on the agency's ability to comply with the required standards.
Members of the community and city workers are invited to offer comments by phone at 404-843-6615 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 13. Telephone comments are limited to 10 minutes and must address ChatComm’s ability to comply with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. standards.

ChatComm serves as the 911 Center for the cities of Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, Dunwoody and Brookhaven.
The assessors are William Bleyle, commissioner of the Onondaga County New York Department of Emergency Communications, and Pamela Cimburke, retired programs manager of the Chesterfield County, Virginia Emergency Communications Center.

CALEA’s accreditation program requires Communications Centers comply with 213 applicable state-of-the-art standards in three basic areas; policy and procedures, administration, and operations.
