City Council, State House Candidate Forum Set For Monday
The Riverside HOA will host the forum, which starts at 7 p.m. May 16 at Riverwood International Charter School in Sandy Springs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- If you are still unsure where candidates for local and state office stand on various issues affecting Sandy Springs, then you may want to check out an upcoming event hosted by a local organization.
The Riverside Homeowners Association will host a candidate forum and debate for the District 3 City Council and State House District 52 races on Monday, May 16.
The forum will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the auditorium at Riverwood International Charter School.

Deborah Silcox and Graham McDonald are running in the May 24 Republican primary for the House District 52 seat, which covers Buckhead and Sandy Springs.
All five candidates running to replace McDonald on the Sandy Springs City Council are also slated to attend: Larry Young, Suzi Voyles, Joe Houseman, Brian Eufinger and Chris Burnett. The city will hold a special election on Tuesday, May 24 to fill the seat.
