City Hires Company To Repair Windsor Parkway

Sandy Springs, GA -- Using its emergency procurement process, Sandy Springs has secured a contractor to make much-needed road repairs to Windsor Parkway.

The incoming contractor will brace the road, which will enable the road to reopen to vehicular traffic as well as allow construction of the stormwater detention facility to continue.

Windsor Parkway at Jolyn Place was closed on Jan. 15 due to structural integrity issues directly related to the stormwater project at that site. Once the contract is finalized, the new contractor will begin needed repairs.

Weather permitting, the estimated reopening of Windsor Parkway remains mid-April. Motorists driving in that area are urged to drive slowly and use added caution, especially when driving through the neighborhoods.
