City To Host Open House For Abernathy Greenway South Design

The city of Sandy Springs next week will host a public information open house on the design for the Abernathy Greenway South project.

The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 in the Council Chambers at Sandy Springs City Hall. The open house will include a brief presentation and opportunity of the community to ask questions and provide comments.
The Abernathy Greenway South project begins in the 200 block of Abernathy Road, and ends just before Fulton County’s Abernathy Arts Center. The initiative will include stream restoration, the addition of a walking and jogging trail and beautification of the greenspace area, in addition to a five-car parking area.

The Council Chambers are in Building 500 at City Hall, which is at 7840 Roswell Road.
