City To Host Open House on Proposed Johnson Ferry Roundabouts
Sandy Springs will host the open house April 2 in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

Sandy Springs residents are encouraged to attend a public open house regarding improvements planned for the Johnson Ferry Road/Mt. Vernon Highway corridor.
The open house will take place 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 2 in the Council Chambers at Sandy Springs City Hall.

There will not be a formal presentation, but city representatives will be available with plans and displays to discuss the project and answer questions from the public.
The proposed project installs two roundabouts. The first is recommended to be located west of the Johnson Ferry Road, Mount Vernon Highway and Boylston Drive intersection. The second roundabout is planned for the intersection at Johnson Ferry Road, Mount Vernon Highway and Mount Vernon Towers driveway.

Sidewalks will be added to both sides of the roadway. The projected is expected to improve vehicular and pedestrian mobility by alleviating existing bottleneck conditions at this corridor, according to the city.
The open house will take place in Building 500. City Hall is at 7840 Roswell Road.
