City Seeks Companies To Provide Parks, Court Services
A draft request for proposals will open Jan. 31, and a pre-proposal meeting for prospective candidates is scheduled for Feb. 20.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Sandy Springs is looking for qualified companies to submit bids to provide recreation and parks and Municipal Court services for the city. A draft request for proposals will open on Wednesday, Jan. 31, and a pre-proposal meeting for interested candidates is scheduled for Feb. 20 at City Hall.
The final release of the two RFPs is scheduled for March 7. Incorporated in 2005, Sandy Springs is the second largest city in the metro Atlanta area, and is home to more than 105,000 residents. The city is an innovator in providing municipal services through a Public-Private Partnership model, a flexible and creative approach to anticipate and respond to the needs of the community.
Through the PPP model, the city and general government services contracts work collaboratively to provide a high level of services for its citizens. Prospective bidders are prohibited, in any manner, to conduct direct communication between city representatives and contractors performing services for the city to obtain information relating to the description, levels, and provision of services.
