The City Council is also considering event ticket fees, which will fund performing arts events and support community events at City Springs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The Sandy Springs City Council has given the green light to impose parking fees for its massive redevelopment project in the heart of the city. The fees were approved for City Springs at the Council's March 20 meeting, and sets the stage for a summer opening.
The city built an underground parking deck below the City Green, which contains 713 parking spaces, in addition to newly created on-street parking surrounding the 14-acre property. The first two hours of parking inside the parking garage will be free parking.
Those attending public meetings or meetings at City Hall which last beyond two hours will receive validation for complimentary parking (For more news like this, find your local Patch here. If you have an iPhone, click here to get the free Patch iPhone app; download the free Patch Android app here).
