Clear Out Clutter With Bulky Trash Day In Sandy Springs

Keep Sandy Springs Beautiful's event will be held on Saturday, June 11.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- If you still need to tackle some spring cleaning projects around the house, then Saturday's Bulky Trash Day could be the perfect opportunity to accomplish that task.

The event, hosted each year by Keep Sandy Springs Beautiful, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 11 at the Sandy Springs Recycling Center at 470 Morgan Falls Road.

Items that will be accepted include:

  • Broken, unusable furniture
  • Carpet and rugs
  • Household construction and demolition materials such as sheet rock, window glass, lumber, wood, old cabinets, doors and residential remodeling debris
  • Mattresses
  • Scrap metal or metal items (will be recycled)
  • Stoves/washers/dryers (will be recycled)

Residents are asked not to bring:

  • Paint
  • Household hazardous waste
  • Fluids including motor oil and anti-freeze
  • Household garbage
  • Tires
  • Concrete, bricks, rock, dirt, sand or cross ties
  • Yard waste (this can be picked up by your private waste hauler)
