Contest Challenges Residents To Collect Food For CAC
The contest, which would benefit Sandy Springs-based Community Assistance Center, will take place during the last two weeks of April.

Sandy Springs residents are being put to the test to see how much food they can collect for the Community Assistance Center.
The Food ’n Fun Challenge, the largest community-wide food drive for the Sandy Springs-based organization, will pit rival schools, businesses and organizations against each other. These entities will enter into a friendly competition to see who can collect the most food during the last two weeks of April.

The food drive is critical to aiding local families in the summer, the time of year when the organization sees the greatest need and its food pantry inventory is at its lowest, CAC said.
Teams are encourage to challenge their rivals on video and post those call-outs on social media.
