The meeting is intended to update city leaders on efforts underway to the update zoning regulations as part of the Next Ten planning process. Sandy Springs Planning Commission and Zoning Committee members will be among the audience attendees.

The zoning revisions will become part of the city’s overall Comprehensive Plan update.

A comprehensive plan is set of policies, guidelines and recommendations to steer future development and growth within a city. While the state requires these plans to be updated every ten years, Sandy Springs leaders chose to update the city’s plan ahead of that anniversary.
