Coworking Space Provider Signs Lease At 7000 Central Park

The move to the Central Perimeter area in Sandy Springs marks Industrious' fifth metro Atlanta location.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA – CBRE Global Investors said Monday that it's signed a full-floor lease at 7000 Central Park with the premium coworking provider, Industrious. The 12-year, 28,000-square-foot deal marks Industrious’ fifth location in Atlanta and first foray into the market’s suburbs.

Located on the 11th floor, Industrious will accommodate about 200 members, ranging from small and mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies. 7000 Central Park is in the final stages of a significant renovation that will deliver enhanced amenities, shared coworking space and community events that blur the line between work and play.

The newly energized 18-story Class A office tower in Central Perimeter is part of CBRE Global Investors’ 5-Star Worldwide program, a national network of top-tier office buildings that attract and retain top talent through a comprehensive range of professional services, hospitality and events. Industrious will move in to its new space in early 2018.

Industrious entered the Atlanta market in 2015. The company’s West Midtown location is set to open in the next wee and a space in Buckhead is scheduled to open in early December. The Industrious footprint currently reaches almost 20 locations nationwide, with another five locations schedule to open by the year's end.

CBRE Global Investors also unveiled a new expanded lease at 7000 Central Park for Manheim, Inc. totaling two full floors at approximately 55,867 square feet. The expansion will make the auto auction wholesale company the building’s largest tenant. Manheim’s parent company, Cox Enterprises, also leases space in the building.

Improvements to the 423,775-square-foot tower include renovations to the front lobby, a full-service, high-tech fitness center, a collaborative coworking space and conference center, expanded café area, meeting space, and a new outdoor “living room” that will provide gathering space for lunches with coworkers as well as special events. 7000 Central Park also recently forged a new partnership with Zagster Bike Share, allowing tenants to pick up a bicycle at a newly installed rack on the property and ride for up to three hours at no charge. Renovations are expected to be completed by the end of November.

CBRE Global Investors’ 5-Star shuttle service offers a two-minute drive to the Sandy Springs MARTA station, as well as several mixed-use communities within close proximity. Office workers can also ride the shuttle during the day to nearby Perimeter Place, which offers dozens of dining options for lunch and happy hour.
