Daddy Daughter Dance Will Soon Return to Sandy Springs

The sixth-annual dance will take place Saturday, Feb. 7 at Spalding Drive Charter Elementary School.

Dads and daughters will be able to celebrate that special bond with dips, spins and smiles as the city of Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department hosts its sixth annual Daddy Daughter Dance.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at Spalding Drive Charter Elementary School at 130 W. Spalding Drive in Sandy Springs.

All girls in grades kindergarten through fifth attending school in Sandy Springs are invited to enjoy the fun.

Dads — and father figures — will get to swing their sweethearts to music provided by a live D.J. Music will feature tunes from both generations, and there will be additional fun activities including dance contests and musical games.

Date night with dad and daughter would not be complete without snacks and refreshments. Memories can be captured in a keepsake photo, and each little girl participating will take home a special goodie bag.

To make the night even more memorable for your No. 1 girl, there will opportunities to make a keepsake photo, as well as door prizes and goody bag for each girl.

Attire for the event is business casual to semi-formal. Tickets are $35 per couple ($10 for each additional daughter), with tickets available on a first-come-first-serve basis until the event is full.
