Dantanna's Undergoes Full Makeover in Sandy Springs

Formerly Dantanna's Tavern, the restaurant now known as Dantanna's Sandy Springs also features the full menu from its Buckhead location.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Dantanna’s, an Atlanta dining staple known for combining culinary excellence with the entertainment value of sports, has given its third offering a new look, name and menu.

Formerly Dantanna’s Tavern, the intimate neighborhood bar and restaurant opened in Sandy Springs in 2014 with a tavern-inspired menu and rustic feel. After two years under this format, the owners have decided to bring the full Dantanna’s experience to this location.

Due to customer demand and the ongoing call for more upscale cuisine, Dantanna’s Sandy Springs is now offering the original Buckhead dinner menu filled with aged steaks, daily fresh seafood and all of its other signature favorites.

Additionally, just as its sister restaurants located in Buckhead at the Shops Around Lenox and downtown Atlanta in the CNN Center, Dantanna’s Sandy Springs has a new warmer aesthetic inside and out. A complete interior remodel was just completed featuring plush leather seating in the bar area, warm, rich colors and fabrics, and a new lounge on the north patio.

With a loyal following since opening 13 years ago in Buckhead, Executive Chef and Partner Tim Williams and his team of culinary experts prepare everything on Dantanna’s menus from scratch and only use the highest quality ingredients to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Now offering lunch, the original Buckhead dinner menu and a late night menu at the Sandy Springs location, diners can now enjoy all of Dantanna’s fan favorites including surf and turf combinations, house specialties, juicy burgers, salads, sandwiches and more.

In conjunction with the new menu and renovations, Dantanna’s Sandy Springs is also offering a gourmet, build-your-own Bloody Mary bar from noon to 4 p.m. every Sunday during brunch. The Sandy Springs location also has an all-American wine and beer list including many local craft beers on tap. The wine list has more than 60 selections by the bottle, with 40 available by the glass.

“Like all Dantanna’s locations, our new Sandy Springs menu will showcase all-natural, fresh, made-from-scratch offerings that will change with the seasons," said David Clapp, CEO and founding partner of Dantanna's. "Guests are invited to enjoy our tried-and-true classics, as well as brand new items and daily specials."

The 5,900-square-foot restaurant, with exposed brick and rich wood throughout, boasts two adjacent dining rooms, an expansive bar area, and a spacious, covered outdoor patio where dogs are welcome. Providing an array of dining and imbibing options for brunch, lunch, dinner and late night, distinctive retouches to the contemporary interior include a warmer color palate of deep reds and browns and black, comfortable and roomy banquettes, flowing curtains, new high-back leather chairs and seating options in the bar area and much more.

Living up to its lively atmosphere and love of sports, Dantanna’s Sandy Springs also has numerous flat-screens inside and out for fans.

“Dantanna’s Sandy Springs emulates the quality, warmth and hospitality of our other Dantanna’s locations, but in a more intimate setting that welcomes the surrounding neighborhood residents," Clapp added. "We see Dantanna’s Sandy Springs as a “Cheers” for the community, but with outstanding food.”
