SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Unofficial results show Deborah Silcox will become the next state representative for Georgia's House District 52 seat.That's according to unofficial results on Georgia Secretary of State's website, which shows Silcox leading challenger Graham McDonald with 57 percent, or 1,725 votes. McDonald is currently pulling in 43 percent, or 1,320 votes. Silcox will succeed retired State Rep. Joe Wilkinson, who supported Silcox in the race. That race got off to a sensational start when <a href="https://patch.com/georgia/sandysprings/joe-wilkinson-ends-re-election-bid-alleges-plot-torpedo-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wilkinson</a> alleged that McDonald and his supporters worked to sabotage his re-election bid.
