Discover North Springs Open House Set For Dec. 3
Prospective students and parents will have a chance to learn more about the school and its diverse lineup of classes and programs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- North Springs Charter High School is inviting the community, prospective students and parents to attend its annual Discover North Springs Open House next moth.
The event will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3. Prospective families will be able to meet and talk with Principal Scott Hanson, faculty and staff, students and parents to learn more about the school's many outstanding academic and athletic offerings, including 25 Advanced Placement classes, the visual/performing arts and math/science magnet programs, Freshmen Academy, work-based learning internships, career pathways, 21 varsity sports and many extracurricular clubs and activities.
“We’re excited that this year visitors will also be able to attend the opening reception of our 2017 Student Holiday Art Show in the art gallery and attend performances of our award-winning senior show Four Stories, 10 minute plays presented on the main stage theater," said James Landreau, Visual & Performing Arts Department chair and VPA magnet coordinator.

At 3 p.m., the drama magnet will present their final matinee performance of "Animal Farm" in the intimate
Black Box Theater. Open house guests may receive complimentary tickets to the show by emailing drama teacher Tyler Owens at owensj1@fultonschools.org.
North Springs is the only Georgia high school to offer magnet programs in both math and science and visual and performing arts. Applications for the school’s 2018-19 magnet programs will be available online Nov. 15 through Jan. 15, 2018, at www.northspringshigh.com.
