Doctor Joins Northside Heart Sandy Springs Location

From Northside: Northside Heart, one of the largest groups to provide cardiology services in the North Atlanta area is pleased to welcome Dr. Eric Nelson to its Sandy Springs and East Cobb office locations.

Northside Heart offers complete cardiovascular care in eight convenient locations throughout the Greater Atlanta communities.

Dr. Eric Nelson is a board-certified physician in Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He brings over a decade of experience to Northside Heart. Prior to joining the practice, he served patients in the Canton, Johns Creek and Blue Ridge communities.

“My clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, anticoagulation and congestive heart failure,” said Dr. Nelson. Dr. Nelson strives to use the latest treatment modalities to ensure that patients will always receive the best possible care.

Dr. Nelson is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worchester, Massachusetts. He has completed additional training in medicine as a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School.
