Beginning early this summer, Double Zero will move into the previously occupied Ink & Elm space in Emory Village, located in the heart of Druid Hills.

CHG has redeveloped the space with the help of design firm ai3 to “create a fresh and inviting backdrop for guests to enjoy modern Italian dining,” the company said in a press release.

Double Zero’s new location will showcase a refreshed menu and aesthetic, featuring a mix of contemporary and traditional Italian elements.

“We’re excited to announce the relocation of Double Zero to Emory Village,” said Federico Castellucci III, president of CHG. “We’ve enjoyed serving the Sandy Springs community over the past five years and want to thank our patrons for helping us succeed since day one. The Roswell Road property has been sold and we’re thrilled to take this opportunity to create a new menu, look and feel for our brand.”

Since opening in May 2011, Double Zero has become a popular destination for southern Italian fare in Sandy Springs. In the new location, executive chef Edwin Molina will continue to lead menu development, showcasing his evolving cooking style and taking Double Zero in a new and exciting direction.

While a selection of handmade pasta and Neapolitan pizza will continue to be served in the new space, the rest of the menu will be redesigned with more attention brought to unique Italian small plates and large shareable dishes.

“We look forward to introducing Double Zero’s lively atmosphere, high-quality service and distinctive culinary talent to Emory Village,” said Stephanie Castellucci, co-owner of CHG and general manager of Double Zero. “While we hope that our loyal Sandy Springs guests will visit us in Emory Village, we’re eager to embrace a new neighborhood crowd brand with a fresh setting and revived food and beverage program.”

Double Zero’s reopening is tentatively set for June 2016. The team expects a short transition between services during the move. For more information and updates, visit www.doublezeroatl.com.
