Driver Knocks Out Power Pole in Sandy Springs
The motorist, who lost control of the vehicle before crashing into the structure, fled the area before emergency crews arrived on the scene.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- A portion of Roberts Drive is closed due to a single vehicle accident that took out a power pole in Sandy Springs.
Police spokesperson Capt. Mike Lindstrom said a driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a power pole near Summer Crossing early Saturday morning.
The driver fled the area before emergency personnel crews arrived, he added. Lindstrom stated Roberts Drive is closed until Georgia Power can install another pole.
