Here are the top three stories in Sandy Springs today:

  1. The Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections has approved a plan to allow early voting on four local college campuses. The service will be offered at Atlanta Metropolitan College, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, and Morehouse College. The early voting at Georgia State Alpharetta Center is currently pending approval. The services will be offered for just two days but students will be notified in advance. (CBS46)
  2. Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is opening a Sandy Springs location. The school will be located at 5290 Roswell Road in a new 6,300-square-foot facility. Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is reportedly the largest swim school franchise in the world. Children as young as 4 months old can participate in the swim classes. (PR News Wire)
  3. Classic Collision Sandy Springs gave away a refurbished car to a mother lacking dependable transportation. The 2021 Nissan Versa was provided through the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program. The car was given to Nicole Watson on Aug. 10. The car also came with a new bike for Watson's 6-year-old child. (AutoBody News)
