Electric Avenue Brings 80's Hits To Sandy Springs

The pop tribute band will perform in the third installment of Concerts By The Springs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- If you dying to hear some of your favorite pop hits from the 1980's, then Sunday's Concerts By The Springs event could be just what the doctor ordered.

The third installment of Heritage Sandy Springs' annual series will be held at 7 p.m. July 10 at the Heritage Green on The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn.

Heritage Sandy Springs describes Electric Avenue as "the most accurate and exciting 80’s Pop Tribute you’re going to find anywhere this side of 1988."

"Having been invited to share stages from Los Angeles to Tampa by the likes of Pat Benatar, Bobby Kimball (Toto), and Jimmy Kimmel, and at sea by the Walking Dead Cast Cruise andthe Gronk Cruise with Rob Gronkowski (New England Patriots), Electric Avenue knows how to take nothing seriously except for the songs," the organization continued. "Electric Avenue delivers spot-on renditions of Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, Duran Duran, Wham!, Kenny Loggins, INXS, The Clash and more."

Concertgoers should arrive early to picnic with family and friends. Gates open at 5 p.m. Blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers are welcomed; no outside tables permitted. Smoking is prohibited. No pets, except for special assist animals.

Concerts by the Springs is generously sponsored by Classic Cadillac of Atlanta, Morgan Stanley, Optech Family of Companies, Capital Investment Advisors, the city of Sandy Springs, the Sandy Springs Society, Sandy Springs United Methodist Church and Fulton County Arts Council.
