ArtSSpring Event: Art in the Park

During ArtSSpring, (a 30 day celebration of the arts scheduled for April 13 through May 13), stores, galleries, restaurants, theaters, churches, sidewalks, the Sandy Springs Library and local parks will set the stage for performances, musical events, culinary creations, art extravaganzas and literary happenings.

During this event hosted by Keep Sandy Springs Beautiful, Sandy Springs Conservancy, and Leadership Sandy Springs, celebrate Earth Day and enjoy a fun afternoon at Overlook Park!  Children ages 5-12 years old will create nature related art using objects found in the woods, and recycled materials. 

Guided Nature Hikes are scheduled for 2:00pm & 3:00pm.

A shuttle will be running between North Springs United Methodist (church on the corner of Roswell Rd. and Morgan Falls Rd.) and Overlook Park starting at 12:45pm.  

Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking.

This event is FREE but space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
