Atlanta concert honors veterans, commemorates 9/11

            ATLANTA—Enjoy hot rock music and honor American veterans at the same time! Rock, RATL and Roll, a Sept. 10 concert at Steve’s Live Music in Sandy Springs, is a benefit to help purchase wheelchairs for Paralyzed Veterans of America.

            The show features Rockin’ Atlanta (RATL), a hard rock band, and local blues singer/songwriter Robert Jeter.

            Proceeds will go to 100 Wheels, a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 by RATL lead singer Doug Hartley to buy wheelchairs for veterans in need. (www.100wheels.org)

            Showtime: 8:30 p.m. Sept. 10. Cover cost: $11. Location: Steve’s Live Music, 234 Hilderbrand Drive in Sandy Springs (404-418-6777), an intimate listening room showcasing local and national singers and musicians.
