eVestment Unveils New Sandy Springs Headquarters Interior Designs
Central Perimeter/Sandy Springs office will feature open feel, industrial materials common to intown loft offices.
eVestment, the global leader in institutional investor data and analytics, will relocate its headquarters to 100 Glenridge Point Parkway in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter area in the spring of 2016 and has recently unveiled designs of the building’s interior (pictured). eVestment will initially lease and occupy approximately 70,000 square feet at the building, which is owned and managed by a local joint venture partnership between Pope & Land Enterprises and NORO Management.
eVestment will occupy three full floors and space on two additional floors of the five-story, 100,000-square-foot building. The long-term lease features renewal options as well as options to expand into the entire building.
The building interiors will feature open layouts and heavy use of industrial materials more commonly found in loft-style offices in Atlanta’s intown neighborhoods. The design aims to capture the excitement and entrepreneurial feel of a tech start-up, with the sophistication and functionality required for a 15-year-old company with about 200 people located in the company’s Atlanta headquarters office.

Founded in 2000, eVestment has experienced significant growth over the past eight years, doubling its revenue and employee headcount nearly every two years. In 2014, the company hired about 100 new employees worldwide, and plans to hire approximately 200 new employees between 2015 and the end of 2016. In Atlanta, the company currently employs more than 200 people, with a total global workforce of about 350 individuals.
In the midst of that growth, eVestment has continued to also focus on building a successful company with a fun, engaging and empowering workplace that encourages innovation and provides employees with growth opportunities. As a result of those efforts, the company has consistently ranked on the Inc. 500/5000 lists and also among the top workplaces in the metro Atlanta area and in the United States. Most recently, eVestment was named the No. 12 best large company to work for in Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

“This new building is really aimed at fulfilling two goals,” said eVestment co-founder Heath Wilson. “No. 1, of course, is providing space for our existing employees with room to grow. No. 2, to provide the kind of environment that allows us to continue to attract and retain top talent. To that end, we’re doing some interesting things on the design front to create the collaborative, open workplace that will help support the work environment we are striving to create.”
According to Wilson, those include:
· An onsite fitness facility to align with eVestment’s focus on employee health.
· A “community” space that flows from indoor to outdoor to provide an alternative working environment for company meetings or a casual space to have lunch, a cup of coffee or enjoy fresh air.
· Functional group “neighborhoods” that allow teams to organize in their own space while maximizing the benefits of the open, collaborative environment.
· Rolling video units and white boards to promote creative thinking and enable quick viewing of product design.
· A large area for weekly company-wide team lunches and other large meetings.
· Several breakrooms with pantries and refrigerators stocked with healthy drinks and snacks.
In addition to these items, eVestment and the property owners (Pope & Land and NORO) are evaluating an option to create a rooftop terrace that would provide another unique space with expansive views of the Perimeter area. Further, Pope & Land – NORO are evaluating and planning additional meaningful improvements to the overall project which will further strengthen eVestment’s and other tenant’s experience at Glenridge Point.
The building’s Central Perimeter location offers easy access to interstate highways, major surface streets and MARTA bus and rail lines and is also close to a wide variety of shopping, dining and fitness options. The combination of these attributes make the location attractive for current and future eVestment employees from all over metro Atlanta.
According to a CBRE study, Atlanta places among the top 10 tech talent markets in the United States and Atlanta is among the sixth fastest growing tech talent market out of the top 10.
“Atlanta is undeniably a national and global tech hub,” said Wilson. “There is quite a bit of tech talent and a lot of companies fighting for that talent. When combined with the success we are having as a company, this building will be one more way eVestment can show current and potential employees we are committed to being an amazing place to grow a career.”
A joint venture partnership between Pope & Land Enterprises and NORO Management owns 100 and 200 Glenridge Point, which were acquired in June of 2015. Ryan Irvine and Chris Stelling of CBRE represented eVestment in the lease negotiations and CBRE’s Project Management team will assist with the transition. Kirk Billings and Jennifer Koontz, with Pope & Land, led the ownership group. Cooper Carry is leading the design effort.
“After spending over a decade in Cobb County, eVestment enlisted our expertise to advise them on the most appropriate long-term solution for their dynamic organization,” said Irvine. “We looked at building options across all the major in-town markets and ultimately identified Central Perimeter and, more specifically, Glenridge Point and the partnership with Pope & Land and NORO, as the perfect fit to ensure eVestment will be well positioned to sustain its rapid growth by attracting and retaining Atlanta’s talented tech workforce. When it’s all said and done, the final design will be impressive and will embody the incredible company culture that’s placed eVestment in the top places to work.”
