Exhibit of Tom Ventulett Works Opening at Ventulett Gallery

Free reception Thursday, May 12, from 6-8 p.m. at gallery inside Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church.

When an expanded and renovated Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church re-opened in October 2012, it was graced by a light-filled art gallery inside glass doors to the entrance. That gallery was named for Thomas W. Ventulett, III, a parishioner and award-winning architect who guided the church’s redesign.

Now, Ventulett will have his second exhibit at the Ventulett Gallery: “My Second Wind,” which runs May 12-June 5. The show opens with a free, public reception with light refreshments Thursday evening, May 12, from 6-8 p.m. The pubic is invited to attend.

All artworks from the show will be available for purchase.

At Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church this year, Ventulett designed a 64-foot carillon tower, the Tower of the Holy Innocents, to honor “the Holy Innocents of Our Day,” as church officials call them—children who have died from abuse and neglect in Georgia. The bells first chimed at an Easter Vigil service March 26.
