Final Rhythm And Brews Concert Set For Thursday

Heritage Sandy Springs on Thursday will host its last Rhythm & Brews concert for 2015 with a performance by Cigar Store Indians.

The open-air concert will start at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green.

The American rockabilly/roots-rock band plays so-called original, “dirt under the fingernails, dance-all-night” music, according to its website.

Based in Crabapple, Cigar Store Indians were founded in 1991 and have built a large fan base around the Atlanta area.

The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green is located at 6110 Bluestone Road in Sandy Springs.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the concert will run until 8 p.m. Admission is $5 for ages 21 and up, $2 for ages 13 to 20 and free for ages 12 and under.

All proceeds benefit Heritage Sandy Springs, a non-profit which builds community through preserving and promoting the historic and cultural identity of Sandy Spring and maintains the 4-acre city park Heritage Green.
