Flock Together at the Feather 5K to benefit local cancer patients on November 1

The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) is holding its first Feather 5K Fun Run/Walk, presented by Road Runner Sports CARE. All proceeds will benefit ACCF, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to adult cancer patients in Metro Atlanta through grants to cover living expenses during treatment, as well as through support of cancer-related education and research.

The event is family friendly, with runners and walkers of all speeds and abilities welcome. Participants will be warmed up pre-race with hot chocolate, breakfast goodies, and a live DJ, along with a special appearance by dancers from the Shooting Stars, the official dance team of the Atlanta Dream. Every participant will receive an event t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraisers and the first male and female runner across the finish line.
