Everyone can participate in the .25-mile hunger awareness walk around the track led by the Shopping Cart Parade. These carts will be decorated by teams competing for the Most Creative, Most Humorous and Funniest awards. Food Challenge food drive contest winners will also be announced.

Festival games and activities include a cake walk, bounce house, inflatable slide, balloon blast, ring toss, food bingo, arts and crafts, face painting, DJ music, dancing and more. Activities are free to the public and carnival food will be available for purchase.

Free shuttle bus service will be available during the festival around Sandy Springs. Please check the event website at www.oucac.org/foodnfun for details.

Patrons are asked to bring food donations for CAC's food pantry. Proceeds from the event will benefit CAC, and provide for local families seeking assistance during the summer months when the pantry often runs low on food.

CAC helps neighbors in need in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody with the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter and promotes self-reliance. CAC works to prevent homelessness and hunger locally with the support of 28 congregations of all faiths, public and private grants, civic organizations, schools, businesses and individuals. Supporters provide financial resources, in-kind donations and volunteer manpower.
