Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:
- Food That Rocks will return on Aug. 19 and Aug. 20. The annual outdoor food festival will be at City Green at City Springs starting on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Saturday, the festival will be from noon to 3:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There will be plenty of cocktail offerings to pair with the food. - Fulton County nonprofit A Vision 4 Hope will be helping with Monkeypox vaccine distribution. The nonprofit will begin offering the vaccine through 200 appointments each week. The program began yesterday. Testing is also available through appointment. Call 678-705-3814 to schedule an appointment. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- The City of Sandy Springs is hosting its next free community fitness class, Jump Start Morning Fitness, at City Green on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 6:00 a.m. The workouts vary each week with a different focus. Click here to register. (City of Sandy Springs)

- In case you missed it, Aqua-Tots Swim Schools will be opening a 6,300 square foot, state-of-the-art swim school in Sandy Springs in November. This will be the franchise's eighth Atlanta-area location. (PR Newswire)
