Fundraiser To Benefit LifeLine Animal Project

"The Champions" movie screening will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 2 in Alpharetta.

The Champions is an inspirational story about the pit bulls rescued from the brutal fighting ring of former Atlanta Falcon’s star quarterback Michael Vick, and the organizations who risked everything to save them, despite pressure from PETA and The Humane Society of the United States to euthanize the dogs.

It is a story of second-chances, redemption and hope. This uplifting documentary takes us on a journey about much more than just dogs—about prejudice, being misunderstood, the power of resilience, and the significance of the relationship we as humans have with animals. Featuring the lifesaving work of Best Friends Animal Society.

All proceeds will go to LifeLine Animal Project, which runs the Fulton County Animal Shelter. Watch the official trailer here: https://vimeo.com/152625221. The screening will only happen if we sell 60 tickets before the deadline on April 25, 2016, so purchase your ticket today at https://www.tugg.com/events/95915.
