GA 400 Overnight Lane Closures Start Monday

The ongoing reconstruction of the S.R. 400 interchange at Northridge Road in Sandy Springs will force the Georgia Department of Transportation to implement lane closures next week.

Weather permitting, the state agency will close two northbound and two southbound lanes simultaneously for the construction of a new bridge.

The closure schedule is as follows:

• 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13;
• 9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14;
• 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15;
• 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16; and
• 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17

Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution while proceeding through the area, as construction workers and heavy equipment will be in close proximity to the roadway.
