As part of its ongoing efforts to improve transportation infrastructure across metro Atlanta, the state Department of Transportation will implement several lane closures this weekend throughout the area.

One closure will take place in Sandy Springs. GDOT states one lane and shoulder will close on S.R. 400 southbound at Northridge Road continuously from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
In the area, the Express Lanes project will require I-285 westbound traffic to shift onto the I-285 collector-distributor lanes at the I-75 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for a pacing operation.
