GDOT Schedules Another Week of Georgia 400 Lane Closures
The Georgia Department of Transportation is reconstructing the S.R. 400 interchange at Northridge Road in Sandy Springs.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is reminding motorists it will once again close lanes on Georgia 400 as part of its construction project in north Fulton County.
The agency is rebuilding the S.R. 400 interchange at Northridge Road in Sandy Springs, which will require overnight lane closures this week.

Weather permitting, two of four northbound and two of four southbound lanes will be closed initially.
“The southbound closures will be removed at some point during the week as the work progresses, but those in the northbound direction will continue each night,” the agency said on Sunday in a press release.

The closures for the week are as follows:
- 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21;
- 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22;
- 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 to 5 a.m. Thursday Oct. 23;
- 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 to 5 a.m. Friday Oct. 24; and
- 10 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24 to 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
Motorists are advised to slow down and proceed with caution through this area, as workers and heavy equipment will be in close proximity to the roadway.
