Here are the top three stories in Sandy Springs today:
- Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office has been subpoenaed in the investigation of former President Donald Trump. A recorded Jan. 2 phone call revealed that Trump had suggested that Raffensperger 'find' the votes needed to win Georgia. The subpoena was received by the office on Monday. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- Law enforcement in Sandy Springs is taking steps to handle the growing problem of gun violence. Sandy Springs had four homicides this year, the same as in 2021. The Sandy Springs Police Department is holding courses on gun safety regularly to educate citizens. Department leaders are seeking additional funding for more comprehensive gun safety programs and informational sessions. (Reporter Newspapers + Atlanta Intown)
- The nearby Atlanta metro has welcomed its first bottle shop that sells non-alcoholic wines, beers, and spirits. Located on North Highland Avenue next to Highland Row Antiques, Zero Co. Inc. carries over 300 non-alcoholic spirits, including wine, beer, spirits, and canned beverages. The store will soon host tastings and other drink events, making it well worth the drive. Online shopping and delivery are also available. (Eater Atlanta)

Not only has fine wine outperformed the S&P 500 over the last four recessions, but it has a fraction of the risk and volatility. It's why the ultra-wealthy have invested in fine wine for centuries.
