Get Your Taxes Done For Free at CAC!
Free tax preparation and filing services are available at the Sandy Springs-based nonprofit.
Get your income tax returns prepared and filed for free at the Community Assistance Center (CAC) in Sandy Springs! We ensure the use of all eligible tax credits for maximum refunds and proper filing with Uncle Sam! The service is available beginning January 30 to any household in the Atlanta area earning up to $55,000 in 2016. Meet with our team of trained and certified volunteer tax preparers available through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, an initiative of the IRS and the United Way. Appointments are required.

About CAC:
The Community Assistance Center (CAC) brings together the Sandy Springs and Dunwoody communities to provide compassionate assistance to neighbors in need by providing financial support, helping to meet basic needs and promoting self-reliance. CAC works to prevent homelessness and hunger locally with the support of 28 congregations of all faiths, public and private grants, civic organizations, schools, businesses and individuals. Supporters provide financial resources, in-kind donations and volunteer manpower.
