Grammy Award-Winning Artist Coming To Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — A two-time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist and film composer, will bring his talents to Sandy Springs.

The Taj Mahal Trio, led by legendary singer Taj Mahal, will perform on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Byers Theater at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning at noon on Friday, June 8.

Taj Mahal has spent more than five decades recording and touring and has nearly singlehandedly reshaped the definition and scope of the blues via the infusion of exotic sounds from the Caribbean, Africa and South Pacific.
