Haunted Sandy Springs Returns Oct. 27
The event includes tours of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, the oldest in the city.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Heritage Sandy Springs' night of eerie entertainment and education will return later this month, providing residents with not only a fun way to take part in Halloween-related festivities, but to also learn a little more about the city they call home.
Haunted Sandy Springs will be held from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. Free and open to the public, Haunted Sandy Springs kicks off at the Williams-Payne House Garden Room where guests can enjoy live music, psychic readings, fire pit, a s’mores bar and a special movie screening. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. You can even earn a free beverage by coming in full costume.
If you're up for some adventure, you and other like-minded brave souls can join the ghosts and take part in a tour of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, the oldest in the city. Tickets for the tour are $15 per person. Tours will begin every 30 minutes, and are limited to 15 people per group. You should note the tour will contain some mature content, so it's recommended that participants are at least 16 years old. Any children who are on the tour must be accompanied by a parent or adult. Please note that purchasing tour tickets are not required to attend the festivities in the park.
The Williams-Payne House is located at 6075 Sandy Springs Circle. Free parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated lots.
