Haunted Sandy Springs Scheduled For Oct. 28

The event will feature ticketed tours of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Just in time for Halloween, Heritage Sandy Springs is gearing up for its night of eerie entertainment and education for area residents.

Haunted Sandy Springs will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28. The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at the Williams-Payne House (Heritage Sandy Springs Museum) where guests can enjoy live music, psychic readings, fire pit, s’mores bar and Halloween-themed treats.

Complimentary beverages will be served, and dinner will be available to purchase for $5.

Brave souls can also walk with ghosts through historic Sandy Springs. Haunted Sandy Springs will feature ticketed tours of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Tours will last approximately 90 minutes, and cover a half-mile of haunted history. Tickets are $15. Tours are limited to 30 people per group and will sell out quickly.

Some of the content on the tour is rate mature, so the recommended age for attendees is 16 and older. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, however.

There are three time slots to choose from 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Free meal (burger or hot dog plus sides) included with ticket purchase.

Tickets are available online on Heritage Sandy Springs' website or Facebook page under Events. This event is made possible in partnership with the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church.

The Williams-Payne House is located at 6075 Sandy Springs Circle. Free parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated lots.
