Heritage Sandy Springs Farmers Market To Move To City Springs
Beginning Saturday, May 12, the market will set up shop on Mt Vernon Highway between Bluestone Road and Galambos Way.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The Heritage Sandy Springs Farmers Market will soon move to a new home. City Springs will be the new location for the market starting Saturday, May 12. The organization will use this occasion to formally introduce Rodney Martin, executive chef at City Springs, to the close-knit community of loyal market shoppers.
Martin brings more than 30 years of high-profile dining, catering, corporate dining, and special events experience to Sandy Springs. He has worked in such notable hotels and restaurants as Dominique’s Fine French Restaurant in Miami, the Waldorf Astoria Boca Raton Resort, Legendary Events Catering in Atlanta, Morehouse University, and most recently, the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
Martin will oversee all catering and event menus for meetings and events in the Conference Center at City Springs, the Studio Theatre and Byers Theatre and CityBar.

Farmers market visitors on May 12 will have a unique opportunity to shop with Martin and watch as he creates a special market-to-table dish they will be able to replicate in their own kitchens. Shopping the market with Chef Martin will start at 8:30 a.m., with the cooking demonstration kicking off at 10 a.m.
The move of the Heritage Sandy Springs Farmers Market brings the market back to its original roots. The Market launched in 2010 and was originally situated in the parking lot that is now home to City Springs. The Market will set up shop along Mt Vernon Highway between Bluestone Road and Galambos Way.

Ample parking will be available to guests in the City Springs Parking Deck, the South Lot (at the corner of Bluestone Road and Mt Vernon Highway), or via street parking throughout City Springs. The first two hours of parking are free in the City Springs parking deck, while the South Lot and street parking are free until 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Heritage Sandy Springs Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and features an abundance of fresh, local, and organic produce, along with pasture-raised meat and pork products, farm fresh eggs and dairy products and a wide variety of specialty and prepared foods.
