Heritage Sandy Springs is looking for volunteers for its Museum Docent Program.
Docents are needed to serve as museum greeters, collect admissions, answer general inquiries from visitors and increase awareness of the programs offered by Heritage Sandy Springs.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, comfortable engaging with the public and have an interest in history. Full training will be provided, and docents are expected to volunteer at least three hours per month.
The Heritage Sandy Springs Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Museum depends on its docent volunteers to serve as the Museum’s face to visitors. Docents create memorable experiences for visitors ranging in age from toddlers to seniors.
Heritage Sandy Springs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community through preserving and promoting the historic and cultural identity of Sandy Springs. The Heritage Sandy Springs Museum is located in a 19th Century Farmhouse and interprets the unique history of the Sandy Springs community.
