Heritage Sandy Springs To Present American Girl And Boy Club

Heritage Sandy Springs will start the new year with an inclusive American Girl and Boy program.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA - From Heritage Sandy Springs: Heritage Sandy Springs announced that their popular American Girl® Club will be rebranded to reflect the inclusive nature of the program.

“We’re excited to see American Girl® Club return for its third consecutive year and to kick off 2018 with our first co-ed characters: Logan and Tenney,” said Keith Moore, Director of Historic Resources & Education Programs at Heritage Sandy Springs. “While we have always welcomed all genders, participants have exclusively been girls. By renaming the program, we hope to reach more children who want to learn about history in a fun, interactive way. We are also concentrating our efforts to combine STEM-related activities within our historical programming to help round out the educational experience for all participants.”

The first American Girl® and Boy Club will be held on Saturday, January 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Learn about the history of country music, and tour Nashville with Tenney and Logan. Advance registration is requested and highly recommended. The fee is $8 for Heritage Sandy Springs members and $10 for non-members, or $15 at the door. The program is best-suited for ages 5-12.
