Holy Innocents' Lady Bears #25 in U.S.
MaxPreps has ranked the Lady Bears varsity basketball team at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School 25th in the nation.

Last fall, the Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School varsity volleyball team became the first team in school history to win back-to-back state championships. Now the HIES varsity girls’ basketball program has achieved another HIES first—a national ranking!
In the latest posting of the top high school girls’ varsity basketball programs in the United States, MaxPreps, a division of CBSSports.com and the nation’s top source for high school sports information, has the Lady Bears as the #25 team in the nation. The story on the MaxPreps website has this to say about the team: “Beating former No. 1 McEachern, even without injured star Caliya Robinson, is an impressive statement for a Georgia AA school. And Holy Innocents’ has played a solid regional schedule and survived some close encounters.”
Holy Innocents’ Athletic Director Ruth Donahoo credits Coach Tony Watkins and his staff for instilling a solid work ethic in the Lady Bears at every practice, and emphasizing a confident, team-first approach. “The coaches have their players prepared and poised for every game,” said Donahoo. “They’re playing phenomenal, unselfish basketball, and it’s great to see them get the recognition they deserve.”
