Holy Innocents' Walks the Walk for JDRF

Some 120 walkers joined Holy Innocents' in the JDRF One Walk Oct. 17 to raise $50,000 to fight Type 1 Diabetes.

More than 120 walkers joined the Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School Walk Team Oct. 17 at the JDRF One Walk at Centennial Olympic Park, an annual event to raise money to fight Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes.

The Holy Innocents’ team—which for seven years has been the top fund-raising team in the country—was led by students Will Epperson, Reed Stewart, and Mathew Christensen.

With matching funds still coming in, the team is expected to meet or exceed the school’s goal of $50,000. Last year the team raised a record-shattering $76,417. To contribute, visit: http://tinyurl.com/q3c9fzm.
