Husband Finds Wife in Bed With Another Man, Shoots Him
Michael Sheffield turned himself into police last week. Separately Sandy Springs Police see two suspects in an assault on a 57-year-old woman.

Last week, Michael Sheffield surrendered to Sandy Springs Police for shooting a man he found in bed with his wife.

Police arrested Sheffield on an aggravated assault charge in the June 2 shooting at Foxcroft Apartments on Roswell Road.
Sheffield, who was estranged from his wife, allegedly entered her condo and found her in bed with another man and shot the man in the arm.

The investigation showed among other things, that the couple, although married only a month, had split up and were living apart. Sheffield said that when he saw the man in bed with his wife, the man jumped up and ran toward him. Sheffield also stated that he held the gun up only to scare the man but the gun “went off.”
Sheffield didn’t understand why he was being arrested after explaining his side of the incident, according to police.
Suspects Sought in assault on 57-year-old woman
Sandy Springs Police seek two suspects in an assault on a resident at the Parc apartments on Pitts Road.
According to a police report, the 57-year-old victim said she was approached by two black males, who entered her Chrysler Sebring and took her laptop, which was in her computer bag. The victim told police that one of the suspects pulled a gun on her. She fell to the ground, screamed, and kicked at the assailant who told her to “shut up.”
The suspects may be traveling in a Chevy Cruze. There are described as 20 to 25-years-old, and 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8.
